Book Donations

The Friends of Crandall Public Library gladly accept gently used donations for their book sales. There is a limit of 2 boxes or bags, which can be dropped off in the collection bins just inside the Glen Street Lobby during Library hours. Book donations are no longer being accepted at the back door.

The Friends are not accepting book donations:
December 23, 2024 - February 2, 2025

Winter Book Sale

We accept donations of books only:

  • Fiction & Non-fiction Books
  • Hard & Soft Cover Books

We do not accept donations of:

  • CDs & DVDs
  • Books on CD
  • Magazines
  • Encyclopedias
  • Textbooks
  • Vinyl records and music cassette tapes
  • Reader's Digest Condensed Books
  • VHS tapes

We do not accept books more than 5 years old in these categories:

  • Business and Finance
  • Computers
  • Health and Childcare
  • Education

The Friends ask that you hold all book donations for approximately 3 weeks before and 1 week after their book sales as they prepare and clean up. Please check the Library for the specific dates donations are not being accepted.
