THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE

BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF

CRANDALL PUBLIC LIBRARY

WILL BE HELD ON

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2024, 4:30 P.M.

QUEENSBURY--Persons wishing to have their names placed on the ballot at the General Election on November 5, 2024, for the position of Trustee of the Board of Crandall Public Library [District] are hereby given notice that petitions with the name and residence of the candidate and signed by at least twenty-five qualified voters of the municipality in which the vacancies occur, must be filed in the office of the Secretary of Crandall Public Library Board in care of the office of the Library Director between June 28th  and July 11th, by no later than three o’clock in the afternoon of Thursday, the eleventh of July, 2024.

There is one [1] vacancy in the Town of Queensbury (five-year term expiring December 31, 2029).

Candidates must be residents of the municipality for which there is a vacancy and must be a registered voter in that municipality.  The candidate receiving the largest number of votes in each municipality shall be elected to fill the vacancies on the Board occurring in each municipality.
