Outreach

Each month, the Outreach Librarian brings library materials to community rooms at local senior residences and to homebound patrons throughout Glens Falls, Queensbury, South Glens Falls, and Moreau - helping readers stay connected, informed, and inspired from the comfort of home.

Please check with your facility for program availability, visit dates, and delivery times. Visits to select facilities and homebound patrons are scheduled individually to best meet community needs.

Print disabled patrons, or patrons with reading and/or learning disabilities may qualify for free services from the New York State Talking Book and Braille Library (TBBL). The National Library Services for the Blind and Print Disabled is offering a Braille on Demand program where patrons can request one hardcopy braille book per month using this form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/nlsbrailleondemand This is a book that patrons can keep.
