It also emphasizes that every person and every community has stories waiting to be found and shared—through books, programs, and local knowledge.

Summer Reading Kickoff Party
Tuesday, June 30 • 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in City Park
Join us to kick off summer reading with games, music, snacks, inflatable obstacle course, and more! For kids of all ages, no sign up required.

Adult Summer Reading Kickoff Party
Wednesday, July 8 • 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in City Park
Enjoy a game of cornhole, lemonade, and more. Drop in, no sign up required.

Kids can read or listen to stories and complete activities to earn badges and fabulous prizes! Reach milestones to earn stickers, ice cream coupons, and free books. Children's calendar of events for July and August. 

Teens can complete activities like reading, attending Library programs, or trying out Library apps all summer long. Track progress on Beanstack any time to earn prize box rewards including tumbled stones, fossilized shark teeth, and ice cream coupons.

Adults are invited to participate in a summer reading program that combines reading (in any format), library programming and an array of independent adventures. Log books and completed activities in Beanstack to earn raffle tickets for prizes. Summer Programs for Adults.
