Crandall Public Library may have an offer you can’t refuse. Okay, we think the Library always has an offer you can’t refuse. Free books, movies, programs – seriously, it’s a no-brainer. But this isn’t the usual Library offering. For the next couple of months, we’re giving you a chance to win cash.

In an effort to raise funds and bridge the gap caused by state and local funding cuts, Crandall Public Library is holding the Love Your Library Raffle. We’re selling a maximum of 300 tickets for $25 each. One lucky individual will win $1,000 cash, another $500. Winning tickets will be drawn on Friday, October 1. Your odds of winning are not bad, not bad at all. Have we piqued your interest yet?

If you’re still on the fence, here’s the clincher. The Love Your Library Raffle is sponsored by Scoville Jewelers. To support the Library’s efforts, they have generously offered a $25 store credit for every ticket purchased, up to $50 per person. So you spend $25 on the ticket, you get $25 in merchandise or repairs at Scoville Jewelers. There are no restrictions; you can use it on anything in the store. It couldn’t be easier. You simply bring your raffle ticket stub to Scoville’s at 167 Glen Street, Glens Falls after October 1 but before October 31. They’ll register you for your credit and you can use it any time before the end of October. It’s a winning proposition.

So let’s recap. For $25 you can take a chance to win $1,000 or $500 cash. Only 300 tickets will be sold. Your ticket price is a wash if you just claim your $25 store credit at Scoville Jewelers. And your ticket purchase helps the Library to continue providing the exceptional services and programs you’ve come to expect.
